Today it’s all about French toast on the griddle… whether you want to make classic French toast or stuffed French toast, I’ve got you covered!
Start off by making a classic French toast custard with 3 eggs, about 1 cup of half and half, a few dashes of cinnamon, and some brown sugar. Then whisk it all together.
Your bread options are pretty much limitless, but I chose to use a Swirl breakfast bread that already had brown sugar baked right in to it for my classic French toast. For the stuffed French toast, I switched to a regular thick slice bread because I didn’t want the flavor of the bread to compete with the flavors of the peanut butter, banana, granola, and honey that I used to stuff my French toast.
I’ll show you how to make perfect French toast on the Blackstone or Camp Chef griddle… Hint: The individual pad of butter for each slice helps!
And I’ll show you how to make stuffed French toast on the flat top grill with bananas and peanut butter, finished off with a banana whiskey syrup concoction that is out of this world easy and flavorful!
This stuffed French toast was so dang good that I ate the entire thing… I was only planning to eat half to save the carbs, but I couldn’t help myself! If you’ve got a crowd to feed for breakfast, make some of this delicious and easy French toast on the flat top!
