Cheesy French Onion Meatballs
MEATBALLS
1 pound ground turkey
½ cup breadcrumbs
¼ cup onions
1 egg
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Salt and pepper
¼ teaspoon paprika
SAUCE
2 medium onions sliced thin
1 cup mushrooms
3 tablespoons butter
½ cup red or white wine
¼ cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon thyme
1 tablespoon sage
1 clove garlic minced
Salt and pepper
1 cup beef broth
TOPPING
Broil on top rack to melt cheese
1 French baguette slice per meatball
½ cup fresh parmesan cheese
½ cup of mozzarella cheese
