How To Make Smoked Jalapeno Salt With An A-Maze-N Smoker Tube. And I smoked it in my Pit Boss Tailgater Pellet Grill. You can use just about any grill to make this or a vented heat proof box. For this smoked jalapeno salt I smoked my jalapenos for 6 hours, then dehydrated them over night. Once dehydrated, I ground them into a powder using an old coffee grinder. Then I made a couple foil trays and smoked a 1/2 cup of Kosher salt and the ground jalapenos for 4 hours using my A-Maze-N Smoker tube placed in my Pit Boss Tailgater Pellet Grill. Then blended the salt to jalapeno a little at a time until I liked the blend. You of course can blend to your taste.
What can you use it on? Easiest answer is everything! Anything you would normally use salt on. It will just give it a little zing! How about on the rim of a margarita, popcorn, French fries, steaks, soups and on and on. Anything you want to spice up!
