Philipsburg is the capital of Sint Maarten, the Dutch side of the Caribbean island Saint Martin. Beachfront bars line the boardwalk along Great Bay. Voorstraat, or Front Street, has duty-free shops and casinos. The St. Maarten Zoo is home to parrots, monkeys and a playground. Sint Maarten Museum displays artifacts from the indigenous Arawak people. The ruins of 17th-century Fort Amsterdam stand on a nearby peninsula.
Most cruise ship visitors enjoy a stroll up and down Front Street in Philipsburg, where a huge number of stores boast competitive prices. The capital of the French side, Marigot, has some very elegant shopping with original boutiques offering the sophisticated designs of Parisian couturiers.
Visitors spending an extended vacation on the island will be surprised by the excellent supermarkets on both the French and Dutch side. The Dutch shopping centers tend to supply mostly American brands, and the stores in Marigot present a huge variety of European groceries with some fabulous gourmet stores. If you are looking for local products to bring home as souvenirs, consider the unique Topper’s Rhum, the perfect island souvenir. There are also several local musicians offering their own CDs, and artists with unique paintings to remind you of your stay on the island. And finally, don’t miss the colorful Marigot market – excellent for locally made souvenirs and gifts.
Almost a century ago this shopping and dining complex was home to a hospital turned elderly care facility. Though the hospital is long gone,

Write to us for further details at legroupfoods@gmail.com such as copies of police reports, seven day demand letters, photographs, e-mails. The cases are all already fully reported and all we received was letters and calls of support from embassies, chambers of commerce, but at the time of putting reality in practice, we end up just collecting bills from attorneys and other hilarious results on this broken legal system but we stick to justice and the defendants’ above bills are only growing.
