Today I am making French Macarons from Emma’s Goodies. Emma said that these gourmet macarons are perfect for beginners so having never made macarons before I gave her recipe a shot! Macarons are a French filled cookie that are so fun because they come in beautiful colours! Emma said that you could fill her macarons with whatever you like so I decided on an easy chocolate ganache (which I made dairy free) and it worked out perfectly! I am not sure what a French Macaron is supposed to taste like but I can tell you that these ones were super delicious….and for $5 a batch (according to Emma) they beat the expensive bakery prices hands down.

For the ganache I melted chocolate chips with some oat milk and let set at room temperature for about an hour.
