We are still in New Orleans, Louisiana tent camping at Bayou Segnette State Park.
The first morning Kellie cooks Roasted Cherry Tomato and Hummus Toast. We then head to the Bonnet Carre Spillway Trail for a little MTB adventure. We always use the MTB Project app to find our trails. You can download for free on your phone, or here is a link to us your computer.
That evening we head to the 11th Ward to NOAL Brewing for a beer, then down the road to Port Orleans Brewing Co. for dinner.
The next morning Kellie cooks breakfast burritos. After that we head to
the Woodlands Conservancy Park to hike the Woodlands Trail. The trail is relatively flat and features many small canals where one can see swamp animals including gators, wild hogs, armadillo, and many birds. Along the way, visitors can pass by abandoned WWII ammunition bunkers that are very cool to see. These bunkers are located about half way down the trail.
That evening we head to the French Quarter to eat dinner at Oceana Grill.
Our last morning in New Orleans, we head back to the French Quart to have breakfast at Cafe Du Monde, and walk around to view the historic buildings of the area and show the beautiful St. Louis Cathedral
