Coal pot is a world class French Caribbean Restaurant that happens to be in Vigie Cove, on the picturesque inlet at Ganters Bay just across for my favorite villa at poinsettia Apartment.
Dining is a treat at Coal Pot. The food is definitely Caribbean served with that french flare and includes Mussels Provencale as well as Crab and Callaloo soup.

The video also features Poinsettia Apartments just across the bay and only a few minutes drive from the Coal Pot. I stay at one of the open plan villas at Poinsettia while on business or visiting to St. Lucia. Its close to the airport, good value and convenient to business and holiday activities.

Suggestion: Reserve in advance and ask for a table on the water, you are so close you can see the fish swim right into the shallows looking for tit bits that dinner might toss their way. The water is so close you can reach out and touch it or put a toe into the sea. The local catch is served with rice and vegetables and a choice of sources. Coconut curry is my favorite.
