First opened in 1998, Pocheon Herb Island is a strikingly beautiful botanical garden located in Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province, boasting approximately 82 acres of land featured with Mediterranean herbs.
It is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Korea as the entire garden gets a makeover when it comes to Christmas and winter season. The whole venue gets decorated with dazzling lights, turning into the most romantic place on earth!
There are spots which are modeled after Italy’s Venice or a French farm. Herb Island also has the largest herb museum in Korea, as well as a herb cafe and restaurant in which visitors can enjoy herb-based gourmet dishes.
