Today I’ll be making Braided Brioche Bread which is a French bread with a rich eggy and buttery texture with a slightly sweet flavor. This is currently one of my favorite breads to make. What makes this bread great is it’s extremely rich with butter and eggs. When used in burgers or sandwiches automatically makes them “gourmet style”. It is also perfect for French toast. What’s nice about it is you can just eat it plain. It is a cross between a pastry and a bread. I’m making this without a mixer which is totally doable (I make it every week) but a mixer is quite convenient.

Ingredients:
1 cups Milk
1/2 cup Sugar
1 1/2 tsp and 3/4 tsp Active Dry Yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
3 cups Flour (approximately)
3 Large Eggs
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
100g Unsalted Butter
1 Egg
3 tbsp Water
