This has been our day-in, day-out coffee for over a year. Consistently good. We go through a 5-pound bag in a little less than a month. Strong, dark roast without being over-roasted (Im not a fan of the almost-burned style – you know who Im talking about).
Bought the whole bean at first (had a coffee maker than ground and brewed automatically) but switched to ground when we switched coffee makers – there isnt enough difference in taste to warrant dealing with a coffee grinder in the morning.
Have tried other coffees from Coffeebean Direct and have been happy with them all.
This is a very good coffee for the price. It’s a little on the weak side, so I used a heaping scoop for each cup. I will definitely buy again when it is available.
We really enjoy this coffee. After Sam’s Club Discontinued Barrie Brothers French Roast, we thought we’d give this one a try. We are very happy with it. Unlike other coffees we’ve tried, it does not get bitter after sitting in the pot for a few hours.
