This video is about how to cook Vegetable Biryani using a Thermal Cooker.
Thermal Cooker is very handy on a busy day for working adults. Also suitable while camping and for a picnic. The food stays hot for a very long time provided we don’t open the lid very often.
Ingredients to cook Veg Biryani using a Thermal Cooker:
Oil : 4 tbsp
Ghee : 1 tsp + 1 tsp
Cashew nuts : 10 – 15
Bay Leaf : 1
Star Anise : 1
Cardamom : 2
Cinnamon Stick : 1
Cloves : 2
Cumin Seeds : 1 tbsp
Saunf/Sombu : 1 tbsp
Onions : 2 sliced
Salt : 1/4 tsp + 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste : 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder : 1/4 tsp
Coriander Powder : 1 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder : 1 tbsp
Tomato : 1 chopped
Green Chillies : 6 slit
Green Peas : 1/2 cup
Carrot : 1
French Beans : 10
Mint/Pudina : 1/2 cup
Coriander Leaves : 1/4 cup
Lemon Juice : 1 tbsp
Garam Masala Powder : 1/2 tsp
Basmati Rice : 2 cups
Water : 3 cups
The Biryani was perfectly cooked with the right texture. The results were very satisfactory. This is not a paid promotion.
