Whether or not you’re in the market to buy luxury brands, it’s always good to be able to drop the names in casual conversation at a party to appear like a man or woman of the world. But it would backfire if you got the pronunciation wrong. So here are some of the world’s top luxury brands with pronunciation tips and interesting facts about their heritage.
The French seem to have almost a monopoly on iconic luxury brands—particularly from the world of fashion and lifestyle. Perhaps because there’s been a great emphasis on style and high living in their culture. And, being a former colonial power, they had the wealth to match. So it’s no coincidence that all the brands in this video are French. Making it a lesson in French pronunciation as well.
