How to Make the Best French Apple Tart || French Apple Tart Recipe
Fall is here so it’s time to bake French Apple Tart. This delicious French Apple Tart is easy to make. You just need time and apples! I know, apples are amazing fruits. You can eat freshly and bake to make the wonderful dessert. This French Apple Tart is one of them. So let’s bake it!
Ingredients:
Crust:
1 1/4 cups flours
1 tsb sugar
1/4 salt
1 stick butter
1 egg yolk
1 tsb water
Compote
Apples
2 tsb sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup apple juice
1/4 cup water
Lemon juice
Topping
Sliced apples
1/2 cup sugar
Jam
Lemon juice
Method:
Combine the dry ingredients
Continue to add butter
Then egg and water
Wrap the dough inside the plastic
Keep in the refrigerate
Compote:
Combine all ingredients
Simmer uncovered
Then cover
Cook for 30 minutes until compote is well done
Set aside
Final:
Roll up the tart
Place onto the tart pan
Spread the compote
Decorate with the topping
Sprinkle with sugar
Preheat the oven with 400F
Bake the tart for 15 minutes
Reduce the heat to 350F
Bake for 20 minutes
Broil for 2 minutes
When the tart is done, brush with jam.
