Wow what a stunning location! As we track toward the Mediterranean, the medieval city of Carccassonne provides a glorious 24 hour pitstop. Join us for dinner at a Moroccan restaurant (OK it’s a kebab shop), and head up to explore the ancient walled citadel. As France’s No 2 tourist destination, the inner city was crowded and crazy, but walking around the lices we could easily imagine jousting knights!
