Finally we drink some Malbec on DrinkinItIn. Malbec is a very popular grape that exploded onto the wine scene in the late part of the 20th Century.
It is easy to see why it gained popularity as it is one of the more easy to drink red wines out there.
Most of the Malbec you will find in stores today are from Argentina. However if you happen to see a bottle marked Cahors from France, that is made primarily with Malbec. Please note that wines from Cahors will be a totally different experience from anything you pick up from Argentina (very tannic).

The wine tasted in this episode is:
2019 Trapiche Malbec
Mendoza, Argentina

Cheers!!!
