The Secret to Making Crispy French Fries at Home

Crispy Masala French Fries Recipe|Potato French Fries are a twist to the regular french fries and can be easily made at home by mixing thinly cut potatoes with corn starch and few spices and are deep fried until crisp.
Ingredients
2-3 large potato
2 tbsp corn starch
2 tbsp all purpose flour(maida)
2 tbsp gram flour (besan)
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp red chilli flakes
1 tsp cumin (zeera)
Oregano
salt to taste
Oil to fry
Soak potato in water and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes(removes excess starch in potatoes).Drain the water well and lightly pat dry.
Mix cornstarch, all purpose flour, besan, black pepper, salt , red chili powder, chilli flakes. Sprinkle the spice mix over potatoes and mix well so all the fries are covered with spices.
Fry the fries till they become gold in color all around, turn the fries a few times while frying.Remove french fries from oil and place on paper towel.

Serve hot and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce. 🙂
