Le Mesnil is actually a Grand Cru vineyard site on the village that bears pretty much the same name: Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Le Mesnil is also the name of a cuvée made by famous Champagne producer: Salon. I made a separate video on how to pronounce Salon. But for now how do you go about pronouncing Le Mesnil? Well, the middle S, the central S of MESNIL is silent. It does mean that instead of pronouncing MENIL you just have to say Ménil though. Le Mesnil. Le Mesnil.
