Ingredients
1 Large potato peeled and cut into thin slender pieces
1 Onion cut into pieces
6 slices of bread
1 Egg
1Tomato cut into pieces
25 gms of ginger
25 gms of garlic
A quarter spoon of turmeric powder
1 Spoon of pepper powder
Salt to taste
40 ml of oil
Preparation
Heat the pan and pour in 10 ml of oil. Put in the garlic,ginger and onion pieces and saute till the onions are a golden brown. Add the tomato pieces and saute. Add the potato pieces and saute well for 6 to 8 minutes. Then add 100 to 150 ml of water and mix and cook for 10 minutes. After that smash the potatoes so as to make it into a pulp.Break an egg into a bowl and mix the yellow and the white of the eggs thoroughly. Take a slice of bread and put in the potato mixture on top and spread it. Cover it with another slice and press so that both the bread pieces stick together. Dip the sandwich that we made in the egg mixture and apply the mixture thoroughly. Do this with the rest of the bread pieces. Now heat a pan and pour in 30 ml of oil. Put in the egg dipped sandwiches into the pan and fry them by turning from side to side every minute for 6 to 8 minutes and take off the flame and serve
