In this video I up cycle and makeover 2 garden trellis’s to create a shabby chic french country decor piece! I purchased these trellis’s a couple of years ago at Lowes for $9.98 and wasn’t using them outdoors so I decided to transform them into a beautiful ornate piece to add life to a space in my home. This piece could also be hung up and used for beautiful wall decor. I show how to attach the 2 pieces then add a rust color layer before smoothing over with candle wax. I spray the whole piece with white spray paint then gently scrape off areas to give that chippy, rustic, worn look. Making this piece is super easy and very budget friendly compared to purchasing from the big box stores. Some of these similar pieces run over $200! This piece now has an elegant French Country style that can be used to accent any space in your home. I stage this piece showing the many ways it can dress up any space in your home and bring out that French Country Shabby Farmhouse flare!
