Here is a quick one-pan chicken recipe. Dijon is a traditional mustard of France, named after the town of Dijon in Burgundy, France. Dijon is made from brown mustard seeds and white wine. We have tried different version without wine.
Though we don’t claim this to be authentic, be assured about its mouth watering creaminess and flavors.
Recipe:
1. Spread mustard oil, salt and pepper powder on chicken
2. Take 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan
3. Fry it from both the sides
4. When chicken is almost cooked, add a potato (cut into cube shapes)
5. Let chicken and potato cook properly and then take them out
6. In the same pan, take 2 tablespoons of butter
7. Add finely chopped 8-10 garlic cloves and saute
8. Add a minced onion and let it cook for 3-4 minutes
9. Add a tablespoon of lemon juice and fresh coriander. cook for another 2 minutes
10. Now add stock and salt and cook for 5 minutes
11. On low flame, add 1 to 2 cups of cream and a teaspoon of mustard sauce
12. Cook until sauce thickens
13. Add chopped half capsicum and a cup of baby spinach
14. Add fried chicken and potato cubes and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes
15. Creamy chicken is ready
Ingredients (Serves 2-3):
– Chicken boneless 500 gm
– A large potato
– 2 small onions
– Half a capsicum
– A cup of baby spinach
– Fresh coriander and lemon (or lemon juice)
– 8 to 10 garlic cloves
– 1 to 2 cups of cream
– Olive oil (optional) & Butter
– Mustard sauce and mustard oil
– Salt , black pepper, powder coriander powder
– A cup of stock /broth
