The Badenhorst family winery has made two exceptional blends, red and white, that express the terroir of South Africa, while also being very affordable. This Southern France style blend of 60% Shiraz, 20% Mourvedre, 15% Pinotage and 5% Cinsault is chock full of smokey red fruit aromas with a pleasant soft finish. If there was a wine on the Top 12 to serve at your BBQ, this would be the one. Certainly a fantastic everyday red.
🥂 The Curator White Blend 2019 | South Africa
The Badenhorst family winery has made two exceptional blends, red and white, that express the terroir of South Africa, while also being very affordable. The white is absolutley chuggable, with aromas of apricot, nectarine, and jasmine. Dry but with a very soft and low acid finish making it great to sip on without food. A blend of mostly Chenin Blanc with a little Viognier and a touch of Chardonnay. No oak.
