The aromas of red wines can vary widely and can include red, blue or black fruits; sweet or savory spice; vanilla, chocolate, cedar; dried tobacco and leather. What we can detect depends on the wine’s grape varietal, location, winemaking factors and age. Following up on the Aromas of White Wines webinar this class will focus on three different wines that show classic aromas. Participants will learn about the grapes’ characteristics, and what makes them smell and taste the way they do.
Nicole Ramos, WSET L3, SWS, FWS will present the webinar. During this webinar we will feature three different wines.
The lineup:
– Bodvar No.7, Cotes de Provence, France (rosé)
