Welcome to Tasting Wine, today were are tasting 1990 Domaine Bernard Delagrange Volnay 1er Cru Caillerets This wine is from Volnay, France. It was absolutely amazing, we opened this for my 30th birthday. Purchased from the winery tasting room in Beaune. The wine was stored at the winery cave until I purchased it. The cork was still intact, kinda moldy on the top but no issue. Took a bit to get the cork out but came out fine. Smell was a bit muted at first, no funk, cedar wood and leather with a bit of fruit. Taste is absolutely wonderful, leather wood and a bit of smoke. Continued to evolve for about an hour. Would love to have more but was a joy to drink
