Apple French Toast Roll-Ups | Apple Cinnamon Toast Roll-Ups | Quick & Easy
Ingredients
Apples : 2 Large sized (Cut into small pieces)
Cinnamon Powder : ½ Tea Spoons
Lemon Juice : 2 Tea Spoons
Powder Sugar : 1 Tea Spoon
Heat suitable pan on low flame. Add pieces of apple, cinnamon powder, lemon juice and sugar and cook till juices from apple dry out. Let it cool.
Take 8 pieces of bread. Cut their edges and roll out until flattened. Apply a light coat of cream cheese, put apple mixture (approximately two tea spoons) on one edge as shown in video and then roll it up. Repeat procedure for all the bread pieces.
Coating
Egg : 1 each
Milk : ½ Cup
Powdered sugar : 1 Table Spoon
Cooking Oil : For shallow frying
Mix all ingredients well to form a uniform mixture. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Dip each bread roll in the mixture. And place in the pan for shallow frying. Repeat same for all bread rolls. Keep turning side to ensure that the rolls are cooked from all sides and a golden brown texture appears.
Cinnamon Powder : 1 Table Spoon
Powder sugar : 2 Table spoon
Mix both ingredients in a plate. After frying the roll-ups, coat all with the sugar cinnamon powder. Serve hot with tea at breakfast or as snacks.
