Hey family!!!! Today I’m sharing a Brand NEW Recipe with y’all!! French Onion Sloppy Joes! These were a big hit! If you want to switch up your Sloppy Joe routine, then this recipe is for you! 😂
French Onion Sloppy Joes Recipe:
(Serves Four)
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
3 Tablespoons butter
2 onions sliced
1 cup beef broth ( I ended up adding a little more so it came to one cup.)
3 Tablespoons all purpose flour
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
cheese of your choice (I used shredded mozzarella.)
Hamburger Buns (I used onion buns.)
Directions:
Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat. When butter is melted add in sliced onions and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 10-15 minutes, until onions are soft and browning. In another pan cook ground beef until no longer pink while the onions are cooking. Once the onions are done remove them from the pan and pour in the beef broth and flour. Whisk until smooth. Drain cooked ground beef and add to the pan with 1/4 of the cooked onions.
Mix well and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Assemble Sloppy Joes with the bun, meat mixture, onions, and cheese. That’s it! So good!
NOTE: If you want to make enough for 6-8 people you should double this recipe. What I made only serves 4. 😁👍
