Tam and Matt callout the finesse and the perfume of the La Maline and just how much of a departure this is from the 1990s and early 2000s when the Barossa suffered from winemaking approaches that over-extracted the grapes producing wines that lacked finesse. This modern style is highlighted not just in their La Maline but the whole Spinifex range including Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro, Syrah, Aglianico, Tempranillo, Vermentino and a sophisticated Rosé.
