In the future, the Nordics will be major wine producers as traditional wine making countries like France and Spain become too hot from climate change to sustain production.

We discuss how wine is made in the Nordics, the grapes’ flavor profile, the economics of a Northern vineyard, and how the scene is developing. Currently, there are 90 commercial vineyards in Denmark, 40 in Sweden, and about a dozen in Norway.
