I am sure that many of you already have the pleasure of knowing this dessert and you have enjoyed it. For those who haven’t tried this dessert yet, I’ll tell you a little more. Flan Patissier of Parisian is custard baked in flaky pastry shell. It is very popular in Paris. It’s easy to make, even the pie crust. Delicious, creamy, velvety dessert and it pairs great with a chilled sweet white wine.

INGREDIENTS:
Flaky Pastry:
-250g Flour
-1/2 Tsp Salt
– 1 Tbsp sugar
-200g Cold butter
-1/2 Cup cold ice water

Cream Filling:
-1 ½ Cup Heavy cream
-2 ½ Cup Milk 3%
-1 Cup Sugar
-80g Corn starch
-3 Large whole eggs
-3 Egg yolks
-1 Tsp Vanilla extract or 1 vanilla bean
-3 Tbsp Freshly squeezed orange juice
-1 Tbsp Confectioners’ sugar
