This estate sale is in the leafy South Miami neighborhood of High Pines and features an impressive assortment of beautiful French and English antique pieces, some dating back to Napoleon himself, as well as a solid assortment of high end designer apparel and accessories.
Among the antique pieces, many of which we have certificates of authenticity for, are two fabulous ornate French 19th century walnut buffets, both elaborately carved and one depicting an evocative scene featuring Sancho Panza from the 17th century Spanish novel Don Quixote. We have an 8-seater dining room set from early 19th century France, a French gaming table with chairs, a French Louis Phillippe loveseat, an attractive rosewood table depicting the last monarch of France, an antique desk and chair, a makeup vanity, an ornate antique inkwell, and an English antique mahogany leather top round ‘rent’ table, as used by wealthy landowners to store and organize rental income collected from those who dwelt on their estates!
In the ‘designer section’, we have men’s clothes as well as handbags and accessories from brands such as Chanel, Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo, Coach, Burberry, Lalique and Tod’s,
Lovers of collectibles will enjoy classic porcelains and dinnerware from Philippe Deshoulieres, Italian Deruta and Fitz and Floyd among others, while crystal shoppers will be interested in the Waterford Lismore, Lalique and Baccarat collections. We also have collectible pieces from Asia and a beautiful assortment of figurines that includes Lladros.
The furniture line up includes a 3-piece bedroom set from Bloomingdales, book cases, two leather armchairs, a sofa, side tables, a modern 4-seater glass top table, outdoor furniture and four TV cabinets, including a stylish design from quality furniture maker, Maitland Smith.
We have a fabulous selection of hardback books for sale, including a fascinating ‘Director’ from 1762, used by celebrated English furniture maker, Thomas Chippendale, to showcase his work to potential clients.
