More from France because there were just too many fantastic moments to share! We had the great pleasure of dining in the courtyard of the winemakers home from Domaine de Mourchon. Thank you Walter and Kate! It was a dream day. We had a private caterer (Suzanne Kay – amazing!) come and fix us the ultimate lunch, that paired perfectly with the wines from the winery. We enjoyed two kinds of quiche…Zucchini and Hazelnut, and Spinach, Artichoke and Fennel. Plus Roasted Duck Breast with Fresh Marinated Figs (from the chefs own garden!). A variety of French cheeses – blues, goats, cows, and sheeps milk cheese. Fresh green salad. A Farro & Vegetable Salad with Beets, Carrots, Olives, Herbs, Radishes and Haricot Vert. A fresh Tomato and Olive Salad. And of course…fresh Baguette! It was a DIVINE lunch and truly was a highlight from our trip…which was partly on our own and partly on a tour with Rick Steves Tours…Eastern France. We highly recommend it! Thanks for watching.
