An hour and a half nor’west of Melbourne in Glenlyon, Attwoods is where a decade of sommelier obsession finally found a home. Troy Walsh spent years in London’s top restaurants before working vintages in Burgundy – then in 2019, he and wife Jane took over a Glenlyon estate with 23-year-old Pinot and Chardonnay vines. The wines are made to age, made for food – and the French bistro lunch menu Jane runs Friday to Monday is designed exactly with that in mind.
