Moving into a new place soon and shopping for furniture. However, I’m not quite sure what to do with the small dining area. The point beneath the fan is ~7.5 feet wide.
Do I put a rectangular table up against the wall to allow for more walking room? Or do I put a small circular table centered below the ceiling fan? I don’t need a large table since it’s just me.

I would put it closer to the front door because I would rather they walk through the dining room into the living room then come in the front door and be in the middle of the living room. I don’t wanna try to place furniture around the front door
