Ceiling would make it blend in more, but painting it the same color you’ll do on the walls might be a fun little accent of color against the ceiling! I guess depends on the vibe you’re wanting with that room?

Paint it all the same, every surface. We did this with some bedrooms and bathrooms and it turned out great.
