Purchased at the winery in 16, 17 or 18 (can’t remember) as a library vertical of 08, 09, 10.
Thought we drank through these and found this 09’ tonight, what a treat!
Nose:
A scent concentration I can only describe as approaching a mature Sauternes with Tropical fruits led by pineapple.
Mouthful:
Perfect youthful acidity. 8 second finish, not oily. Never would know this was 17 years old.
We’ve had a long 2 months with some family matters, this wine couldn’t have come at a better time.
