2020 Castell’in Villa Chianti Classico [Rating: 4.5/5 | $31]

Dry red wine, 14% alcohol. Medium darkness, garnet color. Medium-high intensity nose, with raspberry and strawberry- both fresh and a bit of preserves too. Also some floral notes and rosemary. Concentrated flavors in the palate, but a medium body. This feels leaner and more elegant than what you’d expect- even slightly leaner than the 2019 vintage. Yet, the flavor palate is exciting and rich, with a juicy texture and long lasting finish.

Pure elegant pleasure. This is the epitome of mid weight deliciousness – an aromatically intense and attractive wine wrapped in an elegant and medium body structure.
