Need help deciding what to do for our windows/patio door. I’m thinking for the patio doors, drapes, and maybe drapes as well for the back 3 windows? Or Roman shades. We live in North Florida and it gets hot in the summer, plus we have neighbors behind us, so I would like some kind of spruced up privacy aesthetic. My colors are blues, gold and warm toned browns. North Florida sun is brutal, so I’d do lined drapes on the patio door for heat + privacy, then Roman shades on the three windows to keep it clean but still soft. Maybe a warm linen or sand color for the big pieces, then pull in your blues and golds with a subtle pattern or trim so it feels cohesive. If you can, hang the rods high and wide so everything looks taller and more custom.
