Brilliant wine if still a little tight. It’s developing this wonderful spiced marmalade character with a cool dusty/granite note on the nose. Nice oak integration, malo, and texture from lees work.
def gonna lay my other bottles down for a while. It’s got heaps of acid to keep it going and I think they’ll be cracking!
I get this sub tends to be pretty Euro/US centric but between the Yarra in Victoria and Margaret river in WA you can find some incredible value for money Chardonnays that can stand up with some of the big boys.
