Moving out to my own place and tying to get some ideas for decorating my new apt. Should I move the couch closer to the tv? Also should i get a lovaseat or some more chairs? Any ideas is welcomed!
Also I dont own any of these pieces yet. Just used models of the things I see on FB near me

Couch a bit closer would feel cozier, and a loveseat adds flexibility without cluttering space.
Personally I would go for a grey colored floor, there are very few color palettes that go together with grey floors.
I’d go for some brown wood (looking) floors. From that point you can go anyway you’d like. We love dark colors, so our floor is a light oak and we have forest green walls and vintage furniture.
A friend of mine has the same color floor, but has a Japandi interior with mostly white and beige.
And if this is your first house, I’d get some basic stuff from marketplace or whatever and only invest in a comfortable couch and bed.
Start with the more permanent stuff: the color on your walls and the flooring. Then bring in the basic stuff and just start living. Let the space tell you what it needs and get that piece one by one. Start with the bigger stuff and end with the small stuff like art and plants. Go thrifting, go to yardsales and find treasures on marketplace etc.
Take your time and it’ll be your little palace in no time.
The couch will be too close. Add some color.
