**Wakefield St. Andrew’s Cab:**
(Super late harvest in the Clare valley)
Deep Ruby colour
Classic cab nose but deeper notes, dark berries, smoke, slight vanilla
Tobacco, spices and dark fruits on the palette. Strong notes of cooked fruit.
**Borgogno Barolo:**
Pale ruby colour
Nose: Red berries, mint, green spic
Palette: very similar to nose, a bit of smoke but super light and I had this one last after having more big body wines lol
**E. Guigal Cote Rotie Brune et Blonde**
Deep purple colour
Nose: Big bold Shiraz, strong notes of pepper and dark fruits
Palette: tobacco, spices and black fruits
**Zuccardi Aluvional Gualtallary**
Ruby red
Beautiful bright cherry on the nose. Smelled so fresh and clean.
Fresh red fruit on the palette along with a bit of earthiness.
Zuccardi was my absolute favourite and stood out so much. The cherry smell was legit like a cherry cough drop. So impressive that they get these notes out of a Malbec.
Sorry for the shitty tasting notes I’m about 4 bottles of wine deep but it was so fun to try them all!!
