📖 Story Synopsis:
On the day of my tenth wedding anniversary with Willow, I specially reserved the entire French restaurant in the city center.
All because Willow once said that her favorite dish there was the signature steak.
As the youngest female professor at Capital University, she was always worried about maintaining her image in front of her students, so she never allowed me to pick her up in public.
But that day, for the first time ever, she took the initiative to ask me to pick her up from work at the university.
Just thinking about the smile she would show when she saw everything I had carefully prepared for her filled my heart with lightness.
However, halfway through the drive, a garbage truck that suddenly appeared rammed into my car, sending both me and the vehicle crashing into the moat.
Thanks to timely rescue, I managed to survive—but inevitably fell into a coma.
“Daddy… Daddy…”
In the haze, I could vaguely hear the soft voices of my son and daughter calling me.
The twins were the precious children my beloved Willow had carried for ten months to bring into this world, and aside from her, they were the ones I cared about most in my life.
It was only under their tender, childlike calls that my consciousness slowly began to return.
When I woke up, the children were nowhere to be seen.
Only my wife, Willow, sat by the hospital bed, looking at me expressionlessly.
When she saw that I was awake, there was not a trace of joy on her face.
She had always been a cold person, and I didn’t mind. Unable to speak with the oxygen mask on, I could only barely raise my hand, trying to touch hers—to reassure her not to worry.
But when she noticed my movement, she frowned in disgust, withdrew her hand, and placed it on the oxygen machine beside me.

  1. ★★★☆☆
I’ve definitely heard this before. The female lead resents the main character for stopping her from getting with a bum, pretends to live a good life with him, then ends up killing him. After being reborn, the main character just moves on. He drops the resentment, focuses on himself, and ends up with a much better life and someone new. Honestly, these people have gotta stop intercepting love letters. It’s not his place to reject someone on behalf of another person, especially when they weren’t even together at that point. Willow is just a disaster. She resented him for giving her a good life, made his last moments miserable, and then, after being reborn, willingly walks right back into the fire with Makoto. She pretty much earns everything that happens to her. Living two lives didn’t make her any wiser. The only people I feel bad for are her parents.

Meanwhile, the main character and his new girlfriend still help her a few times out of pure compassion, which just shows they’ve genuinely moved on. It’s pretty satisfying watching someone like Willow, who always thought she knew better, face the reality of her choices. Not my favorite characters, a mid story.

  2. Ya, I've watched it before word for word.😶 Probably on vivid stories, they got a lot of stuff like this. It's mid at best, basically the usual dumb fl who kills the mc in the past life and then regrets in the new one while not even the kids were his & the mc is blind enough that he noticed nothing in his past life. There is not a shread of pity in me for this disgusting fl, just hearing her apologies makes me sick, the only thing good is that they didn't show the torture part and shifted to him trying to live his own life early on in the story.

  3. 20 mins in and this dude is one of the most pathetic MCs in this channel for sure. His murderer and betrayer is in front of him and he's giving her money WTF???

  4. Re-used story but somewhat decent in the aspect George didn't seek revenge, he just live for himself and those who truly care about him and let her suffer from her own choices

  5. One thing that wasn't explained was how did willow end up dying and being reborn? We know George was killed but how did Willow die? Did she take her own life hoping to be with Makoto in the after life since he died in their previous life? She didn't take her life out of regret for killing George, otherwise her story would've been about her being reborn and pursuing George again but making new choices to love him earnestly.

No matter what choices she made in this life, she purely wanted to be with the person she loved. Such an unfortunate outcome.

Makoto died young in a drunk driving accident in their last life leaving Willow with regret, and in this life he became a drunk because of his stressful life with Willow & was killed by her. Ironic she blamed George for his death before, and she ended up becoming the cause of his death in this life.

  6. Eh, this George before being reborn was blind as hell so lost in his illusions of love. And in his previous life, he had no doubts about his kids? Yeah blind. Good he let go as soon as he was reborn. But he still kept her in his life like an idiot when he should have kept her at arms length and out of his life. But I guess the story wouldn't have been as long if not for this. Have to have that drama, right George?
Ok if you have an hour to spare or watch at 2X 🤢

  7. How can a person have so less self respect to give a single fuck about someone who killed them and betrayed them so brutally is beyond me. Why does he care whether she has scars, she is being abused or whatever. He is even talking to her normally even after knowing she had been reborn too. Its always one of the most unrealistic part of these stories.

  8. Willow: why don't you love me anymore? Why didn't you come to save me? George: everyone should be responsible for their own choices. Me screaming: no you coward you don't love her anymore because she murdered you in your past life, you didn't come and save her because she murdered you in your past lives and she also cheated on you and she convinced you that the two children that you had were yours, she is a murderer and a cheater. if I got killed and came back I wouldn't help the person that murdered me. enough with that philosophy crap. why don't these people in these stories act like normal people?
