Brad Pitt opposed Angelina Jolie’s bid to delay their Chateau Miraval case to November 2027, citing prolonged uncertainty for the French estate and wine business.
The dispute centers on the Chateau Miraval winery and Jolie’s sale of her stake to Stoli, which Pitt challenged in a 2022 lawsuit. In the Brad Pitt–Angelina Jolie winery lawsuit, his attorneys say interference has harmed operations and deprived him of the quiet enjoyment of the property.
Jolie’s attorneys counter that Pitt complicated the matter by suing numerous foreign cross-defendants and dispute that his ability to live at the home was affected. The trial is scheduled for February unless the court grants a further delay.
Sources close to Pitt say he wants the conflict resolved.
