Today’s lunch: French Galette and Crêpe!

The Galette is a savory crêpe made from buckwheat flour.
It’s grey-brown, a bit heavier, square-shaped with crispy edges.

Inside: cheese, ham, mushrooms, and a beautiful sunny-side-up egg.
The runny yolk mixes with everything, so rich and tasty!

For dessert: Crêpe La Melba, sweet and beautiful.
Fresh mango and strawberry slices, light whipped cream, and toasted almonds.
Too pretty to eat!

And sparkling strawberry soda, fizzy, pink, full of strawberry flavor with real slices.
Very refreshing!

The Galette really brought me back to France, so authentic!!
