Come spend a pre Easter prep & meal with me in Paris. In this video, I’m taking you behind the scenes of a real French Easter lunch, from the preparation over two days to the final plates we shared with family. This was a pre-Easter family lunch I filmed in advance, so you can get a true glimpse of how we cook, and enjoy food together here. You’ll also see a few quiet moments around the city along the way.
Let me know in the comments: what do you usually eat for Easter where you live?

Oh the Easter plates and bits in Monoprix were lovely! I love asparagus but never had white asparagus – I will look out for that. I loved lamb as a child but cannot eat it now as it is too greasy. I have duck legs in the freezer for Sunday I will make a dijon and cidre sauce, with green beans and dauphinoise potatoes. For dessert I will make a ginger biscuit and cream pudding that my late mother used to make. Have a lovely long weekend ❤
I live in Tennessee, USA. We are having an assortment of Lamb cuts, crispy potates, salad and gluten free cookies. 😊
Hello! As an American I am curious about something, especially given your background as a nutritionist. I know the stereotype of the French drinking wine at every meal is false, so I was wondering how often you would say most French people actually drink wine. And as a nutritionist, do you tell people it is safe to have it as a part of a normal diet? Thank you so much!

Ham, homemade scalloped potatoes, vegetables, deviled eggs in Michigan
1960s, Texas, at home, we ate ham, potatoes au gratin, canned asparagus, crescent rolls, and a strawberry-flavored jello mold salad (whipping cream and canned fruit cocktail, ha!), and Easter chocolates. The country club hosted a buffet—meats, starches, vegetables, salads, and desserts: Lemon Meringue Pie, Fresh Strawberry Pie piped with whipped cream, Chocolate Icebox Pie; a feast! 2026: Omelet with thistles & edible flowers, a side of asparagus, a platter of cheeses, and champagne.
Happy Bunny Day🐰.. are you experiencing bear shelves there like we are in the US.
