  1. High Protein French Toast

    Original Recipe
    500 kcal (40P, 57C, 12F)

    Ingredients
    2 medium eggs
    150g egg whites
    100ml milk (2%)
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp vanilla
    100g bread (I use ‘Toastie’)
    Maple to serve (not tracked)

    My adjusted recipe
    3 slices country split bread
    2 medium eggs
    150g egg whites
    100ml almond milk
    1tsp cinnamon
    1tsp vanilla extract
Top it off with sugar free maple syrup (didn’t track or account for this in the calories or macros)

    How to make it:
Throw the egg, egg whites, milk, cinnamon and vanilla in a bowl. Mix it up. Throw in your chopped bread.
Squish it all down and bake for 30 minutes at 180C (360F).

  2. It’s literally just French toast with a higher egg white ratio. Thats why it tastes nice. Like what makes French toast any different? Powdered sugar topping?

  3. Someone fight me…

"Did you know if you take all the ingrediants for french toast and cook them in the oven you still get french toast?"

  4. It looks nice, but adding extra eggs whites doesn't make it high protein, considering when you'd break it into portions.
