Today, I’m taking you to what might just be one of the ultimate steakhouses in Paris: La Maison de l’Aubrac 🥩🇫🇷

Located just steps away from the Champs-Élysées, this restaurant is entirely dedicated to one thing: exceptional beef—more specifically, Aubrac beef sourced directly from a single farm, Les Vialars, in central France.

But this is not just about eating a great steak. In this video, I take you from the restaurant… all the way back to the farm, to understand what makes this meat so special:
✔ the Aubrac breed
✔ the 120-day finishing process

And of course, I give you my full Paris Top Tips review and final score.

👉 Is this really one of the best steakhouses in Paris? Let’s find out.

  1. Bonjour. Now you’re speaking my language. Thanks for sharing this previously unknown place. Nice to see people focusing on one thing and doing it well. Even a visual of where your wine came from. Very nice. And bone marrow, too! Can’t wait to visit. Merci encore.
    💙🤍♥️

  2. That looked really delicious. However deducting points because it's not your favorite neighbourhood is a point deducted against you for being too hyper-critical, not against them. The restaurant looks lovely. I hope to dine there on my next visit to Paris. Thanks for this excellent review!

  3. The meal/ beef looked delightful, I thought it was very gracious of the owners to offer other alternatives considering it is a specifically a beef restaurant. ❤I would love that wall of beef reproduced as a wallpaper. I love my veg don't get me wrong, but that steak, Oh My.🎉

  4. I gave you not the kindest words on another video for the ribeye lacking spinalis. This one however, absolutely lovely cut! Very tiny round center eye. Practically an ideal model.

  5. I adore your YouTubes on Paris, this one was extraordinary. The price seemed completely reasonable to me.

  6. 135 Euro for two? For a meal like that? I would not consider that price in any way out of line. One could pay that much here In Portland and not get a comparable meal. Bucket list La Maison de l'Aubrac!

  7. Taking my husband and son to this place next time we are in Paris. Thanks for the video. Excellent restaurant to be informed about.

  8. We don’t usually dine in the 8th, but we might just have to make an exception for this place! Merci Alain— you did it again.

  9. Bone marrow looked beautiful. In the stores, I see many kinds of chickens for sale. We don’t have this variety in the US. Maybe you could explain the differences?

  10. Congratulations from Italy, I have spent a few years living in Paris and I have missed this restaurant! It is on my list for next time I will come to Paris. I love bone marrow since it is also used in my city to prepare the Risotto alla Milanese au safran avec ossobuco.

  11. We appreciate your point about the proximity to Les Champs-Élysées. I think that the amount per portion would satisfy both my wife and me. Are split plates possible?

  12. Vegans have left the chat 😂😂,… And they went to a poke bowl joint and ordered tofu looked beef😅😅😂😂🎉

  13. Gone are the days when we could have excellent wines for reasonable prices in Paris restaurants.

  14. Again, your channel never disappoints. May I ask if the restaurant allows sharing in Beef menu and desserts? Thank you 🙏

  15. Why is there a Union Jack on the menu? Please a Union Jack does not belong on any French Menu in France let alone Paris. WTF is that?
