I had a leftover stale baguette at home, and instead of throwing it away, I turned it into the easiest sweet-and-salty snack. The trick is soaking the baguette lightly in water and reheating it in the oven for a few minutes so the outside gets crispy again while the inside stays soft and moist. Then I filled it with French butter, a pinch of salt, raw honey, pistachio paste, and dark chocolate. It tastes rich, crunchy, soft, sweet, and salty all at once.

This is one of my favorite easy ways to revive stale bread at home without wasting food. If you’ve ever had a baguette turn rock hard after one day, try this.

recipe:
* 1 leftover baguette or stale baguette
* water
* French butter
* a small pinch of salt
* raw honey
* pistachio paste
* dark chocolate

how to make it:
* Lightly drench or rinse the stale baguette with water
* Reheat in the oven for about 4 minutes until the outside turns crispy
* Slice and fill with French butter
* Add a pinch of salt
* Drizzle with raw honey
* Add pistachio paste
* Finish with dark chocolate
* Enjoy while warm
