*INGREDIENTS*
-4 slices bread
-3/4 ltr milk
-3/4 cup water
-3/4 sugar
-Condensed milk 1 tin
-Some dry nuts
-Cardamom powder
-1/2 tsp
-8 to 10 threads of saffron
-2 tbsp ghee or oil

*METHOD*
Cut slices 1 to 2. Take a pan, add 2 tbsp ghee. Heat ghee in medium low flame. Fry bread slices till it becomes golden brown. Keep slices aside. To prepare sugar syrup add water and sugar in a saucepan and cook it in low flame remove it from heat, once sugar is completely mixed in water. Dip all slices in sugar syrup one by one in syrup for 3 to 4 seconds and set slices in a serving plate. Boil milk in low flame till it is slightly reduced. Add condensed milk and saffron threads in milk, keep it on flame till it thickens and reduced till 1/2 ltr. Add milk on the slices. Garnish with nuts. Keep shahi tukra in refrigerator for at least 45 minutes and serve.
