65 Division Street in San Francisco’s Design District, JouJou is a seafood-forward French restaurant from Executive Chef and
Partner David Barzelay and Managing Partner Colleen Booth, the team behind the two-Michelin-starred Lazy Bear and True Laurel. Inspired by the golden age of hospitality, JouJou draws from regional French traditions and global influences through a California lens, offering an à la carte menu centered on oysters, shellfish, and classic technique.
The restaurant features multiple distinct dining spaces, including a glass-enclosed patio bar and an intimate lower-level room, designed to balance energy with elegance. The beverage program, led by Beverage Director Matteo Villano, highlights Champagne and French-leaning wines with an emphasis on grower-producers, and cocktails that lean classic and polished in keeping with the restaurant’s golden-age inspiration. JouJou is open Wednesday through Sunday, with reservations available via Tock.
