When Mme Reine-Geneviève Bourgogne accidentally spilled paprika in her white wine sauce while cooking for a famous food critic. Did she stop? No, she overcame her error with common Burgundy ingredients; cream, Comté & mustard!

Why is it called ‘Poulet Gaston Gérard’? Because it’s named for her husband, the former mayor of Dijon. Who didn’t cook ANYTHING that night! 🙄
