little trick from a french guy : don't go in Paris, it sucks, smells like unwashed parking plot toilets everywhere, it's costy fir no reason and people go from plainly unpleasant to straight up dangerous… everywhere else in france is better… really…
French food is amazing, but: if you go to a random place, it is pretty average, cheap food is good but not incredible, while in Asia, or even Italy, you can eat very well for a few bucks. But, we have an incredible variety of traditional dishes that are very good, and the haute cuisine, when you pay the price, is in my opinion the best.
